Im only asking this now because Im just really curious RIGHT NOW. My place which Im going to order my baby macaw from is closed. Im going to order one at the end of the month and I just want to know how long will it normally take before I can actually get my macaw. Thank you

I hope you have done your research! Macaws are extremely loud, messy, needy, and expensive!

To answer your question, it SHOULD be weaned at 5-6 months. Most breeders wean them at 14-16 weeks, though, which results in mental problems. You may choose to hand-feed your new baby macaw every night 1 time until it is up to a year old.
