Information on taming cockatiels?
I have just bought two cockatiels from the pet shop one is slightly tamer than the other one, one will take seed out of my hand and that is about it but the other one wont come any where near me and i was just wondering how you would tame two at the same time? Answers much appreciated x
Keep sticking your hand in the cage constantly, and take your forefinger, press against their breast bone, saying "up up". They will learn you are no longer a threat and will instinctively hop on your finger.
A gentle tone of voice helps.

Instinct. Cockatiels will want to be by you, they are curious and loving. Leave the cage door open, sit the cage near to where u may be working (mine is by my computer) they will venture out just to be by you, you'll see.
