my parrot name is loro and she likes having company by her side, giving her afew cereal in the moring or so because she just injoys eating cereal. ok anyways she's happy but it would be great if i can open the cage so she can have some freedom. she doesnt like to come out and i feel really bad because she thinks its a cage (which it is but im saying its like prison). i leave the cage open but she wont comeout. i tried asking her to come out but she would always say ... (wtf). lol really idk who taught her that maybe it was tv ...

LMFAO !!!!!!!!!!!!! dont refill her food dish for a while then show her some food and put it outside of her cage ... maybe she'll come out ... hope this helps.

Try fixing a food bowl and water container outside the cage very near the opening. Leave the door open for a good, long time. Do this each day. Also hand feed the bird through the open door and gradually, over a period of days, even weeks if necessary, hold your hand back a little each time until the bird comes out. Buy or make an out-of-cage perch and place near the cage. If you can get the bird to move onto it you may be able to move it away from the cage a little at a time. After a fairly longish time you should have a happy flying, fun parrot.
