One of my birds hisses at me?
I have 3 cockatiels 2 brothers 1 sister from the same batch I think and 2 of them love each other and are kissing all the time and when the other male sees this he gets angry and bangs his head on the ground and when I go to pick him up he hisses and bites very hard. When I let them all out he finds somewhere in the house to hide like under table, bed, chair or behind my computer desk so i don't put him back in the cage. (their cage is quite big about 5 ft high 4 ft wide) How do I stop him doing all this?

He is stressed out. You should get him a separate cage and see if this helps. Will he come to you or let you touch him when not in the cage?
These birds can be very mean. Housing them separately makes them more likely to bond with you and not each other. Its harder to get a bird to be interested in you when they have a birdy friend.

Give him a separate cage and find a mate for him. Birds bond for life and he's just a problem for the mated pair. Give the bird a mirror and one of those birdie buddies to snuggle until you find a mate. How do you know the sex of the upstart?
Birds ... the only animals with the gift of flight and ppl like you put them in a cage. No wonder they bite you!! pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
