How long do cockatiel birds live?
I have 2 cockaiel birds, male and female. the have a large cage, are well fed and taken care of. How long do they live?

Hard to say. Hold one under water for a while and time it.

mine is almost 24 and its still a hyper little turd who doesnt shut its mouth ... they can live a very very long time ... up to 30 or more years

Usually 10-30 years . My parents cockatiel is a real trooper. He is at least 29 or 30, because we have a picture of him from 1982. He's outlasted 4 other cockatiels in our family. Unfortunately he had a stroke, but is still kicking. His head is just tilted and his voice isn't as clear as it once was. He still seems happy though!
