my parrot has flu, or a chest infection, he his wesing what can i give him, he is eating and drinking

It looks like your bird is as sick as a parrot.

Take your parrot to a vet immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Generally, by the time a bird shows symptoms of illness, its already to late. Respiratory illness will kill the bird, end of story. Take it to a vet as soon as possible.

Birds are very fragile and illness can kill them easily. Your bird will need to be given medicine. Generally it is either a powder you can put in the food or drinking water, or a gel you administer from a syringe in the mouth to swallow. You cannot get these at a store, they most be provided by a vet.

If you love your bird, you will take it to a vet.

Another thing it could be is food stuck in the throat blocking the airway slightly, but not enough to kill the bird outright.

Please, take your bird to a vet.
